The Miraport Experience: Meze, Seafood & Historic Peninsula Views
A traditional Turkish meze and seafood dinner
An evening at Miraport follows the rhythm of a classic Istanbul meyhane. The table fills slowly: first the cold mezes — garlicky haydari, smoky eggplant, Aegean sea beans, stuffed vine leaves — then a sizzling shrimp casserole or golden fried calamari. The main fish arrives simply grilled, the way Istanbul has eaten it for centuries.
Historic peninsula view dining
From the lower level of Galata Bridge you look straight across the Golden Horn to the old city: the Süleymaniye Mosque on its hill, the New Mosque at Eminönü and the ferries criss-crossing towards the Bosphorus. As the sun sets behind the peninsula, the water turns gold — the moment most guests book for.
Rakı and fish (rakı-balık)
Turkey's anise spirit, rakı, turns cloudy white when mixed with water and is the traditional partner for fish and mezes. Order a single (350 TL) or double (530 TL), or share a bottle. Not a rakı drinker? We also serve Turkish wines, beer, cocktails and soft drinks.
